Pierre Cardin is a well known brand for their luxury apparels and pens. This manufacturer recently entered in to tablet market with the seven inch Android tablet. It is called Pierre Cardin PC-7006 tablet. It is the first designer tablet of UK; it comes with a leather classy portfolio for protecting the tablet and adding a classy touch to it.
Pierre Cardin PC-7006 tablet has a capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. There is a Samsung S5PV201 Cortex A8 single core chip inside which runs at 1 GHz click speed and it is complemented by 512 MB RAM.
There is just four gigabytes of internal storage and you can extend it to 16 GB through SD card slot. This is just a Wi-Fi model but there is a USB slot so you can put in 3G USB modem for surfing on the go.

One disspaointing thing here is that the tablet has Android 2.2 OS which is a bit dated. Also, v2.2 aka Froyo is made for cell phones only. On the bright side, there is support for Flash.
The price of this product in the UK is 275 GBP which is about Rs. 20,000 here in India.
Pierre Cardin PC-7006 tablet is available only for UK residents now and it can be bought only through the company’s online store. But we are expecting the manufacturer to make this tablet available globally soon.
