Huawei Ideos X5 – Good midrange phone

The Android pool of phones are pretty luring but the high end ones like Samsung Galaxy S II and the Motorola Droid Bionic will make a big hole in your pockets with their price tag. If you want an Android phone and don’t wish to spend big on it, then you should take a look at the Huawei Impulse 4G which is an entry level phone. Huawei is a relatively new handset manufacturer and doesn’t have a lot of smartphones in its repertoire. They mostly make budget phones to lure buyers who have shallow pockets. I have tested a few Huawei phones in the past and they have all been decent but not as good as the foreign manufacturers. It is an Android 2.1 phone having a price tag of Rs.1335 which is extremely cheap. I would recommend this cell phone to people who are buying a smartphone for the first time. The device is quite attractive with a 3.5 inch HVGA touch screen on the top and the build quality too is nice. There is support for[...] Read full story »

Huawei IDEOS X6

When it comes to low end brands like Huawei, people are usually skeptical about buying their products. They think that these mobile phones are cheap and not reliable. Well, I have used some of these phones and I can tell you that these handsets aren’t as bad as people think they are. Ok, they are not as good as phones from Nokia and HTC but considering the price, they are pretty cool. I won’t recommend them to business men or for people who have a lot of important phone calls or to gizmo freaks. But if you are a[...] Read full story »
