Yesterday, Barnes & Noble announced that Nook Tablet will be made available for being purchased; the price of the device is set at $249. It is believed that the website has strategically launched the Nook Tablet in this time of the year as the holiday shopping season is round the corner. The market is now flooding with fresh models of tablet computers and high-end mobile phones; Barnes & Noble have also entered the competition with this launch.
This revelation of Barnes & Noble has probably imposed the biggest challenge to Apple Inc. This is because its tablet is made available at a much lower price to Apples iPad, but both these devices boast almost similar features. According to reports from reliable sources of Barnes & Noble, the Nook Tablet will sport excellent battery life and impressive memory.

Barnes & Noble introduced the first generation Nook in the year 2009. Since, then the technical team of the company has invested a lot of thoughts and money on e-bookstore and e-book readers. All these thoughts have resulted in the production of the Nook Tablet.

So, what the Nook tablet has to offer to its users? It comes with a bright and lucid LCD screen. The device has the ability of handling video playback efficiently. It has a superb resolution of 1024×600 pixels; its pixel density is also made quite impressive at 169PPI. These features of the tool are same as that of Nook Color; the only difference between the two is the laminated screen sported by the Nook Tablet.
